A little about me

I am a PhD chemist and educator. I have an interest in science visualization and art for education.

I had always wanted to be a chemistry professor, but my career path took may twists and turns and I ended moving into pedagogy development and science visualization. During college I would paint for friends using ink, and then in graduate school I dabbled in acrylics and loved that medium! Most of my paintings are with friends and family, but like many artist I never feel that my pieces are complete. Like a life, nothing is every perfect or “finished”. But I like to think that others see what brings them joy in my artwork.

During covid I was stuck in Canada and decided to attempt digital art. The joys of being able to erase and work over mistakes is really wonderful and so I’ve continued my art in both mediums.
